From the link Below BBC to review 'too white' Radio 4
BBC Radio is in my opinion the best radio station their is and the last thing it needs is to change to attract more listners If it does i think their is a real danger it might well drive away the loyal listner with out attracting the new listners listners

Yes, there is that danger, Peter. But I would much prefer to see money spent attracting Asian audiences to mainstream radio than giving them stations specially for them and their culture; that is devisive.

I'm a dedicated radio 4 listener; have been for years. And surely we could have ONE station where the use of Oxford English could be maintained? I know that the current bien pensant thinking is that we should all celebrate the rich diversity of regional accents and even the accents of Johnny foreigner. But come on. chaps....do we HAVE to listen to that Naughtie chap in the mornings with his horrible brogue?

I have no complaints about regional or foreign accents on Radio 4 After all it does cover all of the UK
But would complain if it were changed just to attract ethnic minorities or for that matter any other group
