The licence fee to begin with. Then every single piece of output that could not sustain itself through subscription or advertising.

While i am not a supporter of the license fee nether am i strong supporter for more advertising which IMO spoils programmes Subscription TV i could support

While i am not a supporter of the license fee nether am i strong supporter for more advertising which IMO spoils programmes Subscription TV i could support I think subscription is a sensible and fair route. As for advertising, I read a report of a study recently that claimed advertising increased the viewer's enjoyment of a program. The logic seems to be that the interest was somehow reignited after the ad break.

Then I must be in a minority because they certainly do not re-ignite my interest after the break Far from it I find them off putting Apart from that I dislike having to lose ten minutes or however long it is each hour to adverts
