I've got a bit of a glut of raspberries in the garden at present. Does anyone have any good recipes for raspberries that can also be frozen?
I've been making the German Rote Grütze with tapioca, which is wonderful, but would like a bit of variety.

They freeze OK so put some away for the winter. Yes they do freeze OK. But they will never taste better than being picked off the canes on a warm summer afternoon and straight into the mouth. Indulge the moment

They freeze OK so put some away for the winter. I know they freeze ok, Yoda; but I find things taste better when the dishes are first prepared and then frozen, instead of freezing the raw fruit. Ah well, just done another two big bowls of rote grutze for the deep freeze.

Enjoy them Rosie, warm, soft, succulent
M & S, in the UK, are doing a raspberry jelly filled with raspberries, giant version (about 8 times bigger) for only 50p more than the individual portion. I am becoming very hedonistic!

You try to help some people but what do you get..............
Use them to make a sorbet or a fool or icecream or charlotte.
Serve them with cold meats, pate, or just in a salad.
Give them to your local turkey farm, as the birds like them.
