Spaghetti is under-utelised as a craft material and it's so cheap. I spent one youthful Christmas at a beach house, no one had brought decorations, we stole the top of a tree from a nearby wood, used a tin foil dish to make a star, and shaped spaghetti into decorations for the tree - interspersed with Heineken Bottle Tops it was quite effective.
I suppose the real difficulty with knitting it is that it dries hard. Underwater knitting would work though.
Underwater spaghetti knitting - the new craze for 2008. Good idea, OSD.
