She should be greatful she offerd a flat I'm sure that homeless man on Question Time last week would have been glad of it. But he was told how wonderful immigration was even though, apart from being homeless, he'd applied for over 100 jobs and not had even the courtesy of a reply. If you missed it, the relevant bit starts about 42 minutes in. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b03xk3r9/Question_Time_06_03_2014/

Today's news from the asylum - Dorset Police officers have said it would be "unlawful" to delete intimate photos of a young abuse victim from a paedophile's laptop. The man was jailed in 2013 for nine years after admitting a string of sex offences, including assaulting a child under the age of 13. He has now formally requested a laptop and a mobile telephone are handed back. Liberty, which represents the victim's family, said photos of her in swimwear and leotards are still on his computer. Dorset Police said they can not delete them as they are not legally classified as indecent or prohibited. As a result, the sex offender, who is in his 50s but cannot be named to protect the identity of his victim, will have access to a large number of personal photos of the girl when he is released from jail. The victim's mother says: "I am appalled that the man who abused my child can ask the police to hand over our family photos for him to keep for the rest of his life. "My daughters struggle every day with the devastating consequences of his abuse and this will only make them feel more humiliated and degraded. Why should we continue to be traumatised further?" www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-dorset-26979187It's absolutely unbelievable that this pervert is allowed to keep these pictures and still get his excitement from them. What on earth are the police thinking of? Why didn't they just delete the pictures and say nothing? The paedophile could hardly sue them and if he did complain the police could have said it was done in error.

If this pervert were allowed to keep these photos, it would open the floodgates to others like him to make similar claims
We can only hope that someone with more commonsense overrules the police Besides what does a convicted paedophile want with pictures of child who is not even a relative, other than to have sexual fantasies over her

The asylum is still busy .................... Jamaican killer we can't deport because he is GAY: Illegal migrant suddenly remembers he is homosexual to avoid being kicked out An illegal immigrant who stabbed a 15-year-old schoolboy to death less than a year after arriving in Britain cannot be deported because he claims to be gay, judges ruled yesterday. The 29-year-old Jamaican was jailed for life aged 16 when he and another schoolboy knifed Abdul Maye to death over a £10 debt outside his school in east London. A judge at the Old Bailey ordered that he be kicked out of Britain once he had served a minimum of eight years. Judge Paul Focke told the thug, who cannot not be named for legal reasons: ‘You are a Jamaican national and within months of coming to this country you committed murder. ‘I am of the view that your continued presence in this country will be detrimental to its citizens.’ But yesterday, the Court of Appeal ruled that he could not be sent back to Jamaica because he could face degrading treatment for being homosexual that would breach his human rights. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2606128/Illegal-immigrant-murdered-British-teenager-deport-GAY-kept-quiet-packed-off.htmlOnce again the "human rights" of a foreign criminal is put above our rights to live in safety.

The ayslum is still busy A triple murderer received a £800 payout for damaged nose clippers A KILLER has been awarded £815 after guards broke his nasal clippers
Machine-gun killer Kevan Thakrar decided to sue prison bosses claiming the damage left him “stressed”. He also demanded recompense for the loss of “priceless” property, including photographs, letters and cranberry juice. He is serving three life sentences for shooting three men dead over a £10,000 drug debt. The 26-year-old claims possessions were damaged following a transfer from the high-security Frankland prison in County Durham. Thakrar was moved after he stabbed three prison guards in the incident, which left two victims suffering from post-traumatic stress. Originally Thakrar was awarded £10 to cover his loss. But he took his case to court and won compensation. The total includes £500 because prison bosses failed to apologise. Read the full story

The ayslum gets busier every day Race fear in the Commons: Parliamentary PC brigade refuses to let bar sell ale featuring black-faced Morris dancers because it might cause offence
When an MP was asked to nominate a guest ale from his constituency to be served at a House of Commons bar, he was only too happy to help out. But Jake Berry’s chosen tipple from an award-winning brewery in Ramsbottom, Lancashire, has fallen foul of the Commons PC brigade – because its label features black-faced Morris dancers. The beer from the Irwell Works Brewery was intended to celebrate the Britannia Coconut Dancers from nearby Bacup, who have been performing since 1857 with blacked faces to celebrate the area’s mining heritage. But officials said the image may cause offence, so the beer will be served in the Strangers Bar sporting the Bacup crest instead Read the full story
